The Liverpool City Region has seen a surge of investment in the high-tech, high-skilled service centres, inbound and outbound, and is an increasingly attractive location for UK location for Business Services operations. This is a growing and evolving sector with around 120 centres employing 26,100 well trained and skilled staff.

The business services sector covers a broad range of activities - banking, insurance, telecommunications services, tele-sales, systems supports and public sector - in fact anything that involves telephone and on-line interaction between businesses or the public sector and customers.
